I’ve made the choice to use my Raspberry Pi as the server instead of the PS3. If I’m going to be using this to start getting into more mainstream languages (I mean as opposed to TI-BASIC, for example) I shouldn’t start with something as obscure as PS3 homebrew.
I still cannot decide what language to use though. I am already familiar with C++, from experience programming my Arduino. But I also feel that Python is the way to go, because I’ve seen .py scripts waaaay more often than .cc
Most my friends are more familiar with Python as well, so I think I might learn that.
